I have my oil cooler on the drivers side pillar, opposite where Tencent puts his. I installed a small acrylic air dam at the rear edge of the pillar air intake to increase air pressure over the intake and increase air flow to the cooler. It works well enough.

For fans you can purchase high-CFM computer fans which do the job admirably. Newegg.com allows you to filter their search by CFM, and that's where I found some nice 220CFM models. Two of them will give lots of air.
