Possibly. I can't see what the rest of the story would be. But then I have far less experience in these matters. All I can figure is that somehow, *they* figure there's stress introduced into the drivetrain if the engine and transmission are installed separately that somehow exacerbates the vibrations already present. But that's obviously a "shot in the dark" guess.
