I wrote a poem about my truck, I don’t want to press my luck, We know the rhyme that should be struck, So I’m going to end with orange. I have read responses saying Heavy Oil is the thing, and Thin Oil is my friend here. On the other hand, neil suggested time as a cure. I can run my truck the whole day with the lifter banging away. The next day, quiet as a thing that’s really quiet when it runs. The can of additive works for a while, then I’m back to noise after a month or so. Does this indicate an oil change when the lifter starts, then additive, then another oil change? ed- WAIT! I GOT IT, DOORHINGE! |
