It IS good stuff and were I glueing a rubber seal to an auto body, that's what I'd use, However, the engine seals typically were held in by.... Friction. I've not seen an engine seal that is glued in. But then again, I've not seen all engine seals. Just examples on Splits, Bays and air- cooled Vanagons. Jim |
