Once again, as Ed demonstrates, (which has also been said time and time again) most common engine maladies are not the components, but the wires & connectors in

between. And this is not unique to VWs alone... But it is testimate to how little knowledge flows at dealerships and auto shops across the country.... No one wants to spend time hunting down intermittent demons when they can collect much more cash from folks just wishful thinking that the most convenient mechanic can fix their problems for them.....
