Don't think I've ever seen the hardcover version... sounds interesting.

Almost makes me want to buy one, but I already have a couple of the paperbacks.

We now have the Hardcover version of the Vanagon Bentley Manual, for roughly half of the cover price. That's the way I'd go. It won't get dog-eared like the paperback, plus it has 70 additional pages (sorry, I don't know exactly what they added). You can keep it in your Vanagon and always have it when you need it, whereas the DVD version requires you to bring along the specific laptop you installed it on (since you only get 2 installs per purchased copy). It's also much cheaper than the DVD, but frankly even if it cost extra I'd still pick it over the DVD.
