whether there is any relation between "Marvel Mystery Oil," which I gather is a kind of universal cure all, according to some, and the "Mystic Oil" that a list member mentioned in connection with his noisy lifters.  I think probably the only connection was in the typo.  But, Mystic is an oil brand that I have avoided, not because of its qualities (I know nothing of that), but for other reasons having to do with the company ( Citgo ) that markets the brand.  That's all I'm saying, for fear of the list police :-).
