Martin, I have converted DV to the 90 amp replacement several times. For the needed longer upper belt I just use a second one of the stock lower belt, 643 mm. Then the same belt fits in both locations and you can carry a single spare.

The AL33X and AL27X differ in that the 33 has a W lead for diesel tach. The 27 sometimes has the W lead but the 33 is always supposed to. Another difference originally was in how the small blue wire attached but that distinction seems to have faded.
