Yup, I know about the hightops - those are raised fixed tops. I was thinking of modifying the camping westy top by cutting out the area over the folded bed and raising it there, but keeping the sides, front and hinges etc so it could still be raised up to create that extra bed space. This would allow maybe 1-1.5 feet over the bed for storage. And stuff couldn't fall down when the top was closed. It's just a thought... Dan Los Angeles, CA '85 Westy Weekender
