If you are planning to do some camping south of the border this summer, U.S.
Customs and Border Protection advises that you leave your firewood at home.
The CBP is enforcing a new federal order issued by the U.S. Department of
Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service to carefully
inspect firewood and inform travelers of the new U.S. regulatory
requirement. The order has been issued due to increase concerns over pest
introductions via firewood.
