I store kayak paddles (4, in two pieces each), an axe, a wiffle ball bat (big red plastic), and some screens up there. It's good storage space!

I often find myself leaving these thigns up there all winter though, and at some random point in December every year people ask me why I have so many kayaking paddles ready for use.
