Jeff, and anyone else interested, When we were in Germany this past March, see our Blog at: www.frankcondelli.com/travels/, we learned that Westfalia, the camper division only, had declared bankruptcy, and at that time all assets had been sold off and the name had been sold to a French concern and the workers were trying to buy back the name and restart the company. All inventory was acquired by Peter Gunzel of www.vwbusshop.de I am now an importer of parts into Canada from the vwbusshop.
