David is too modest. Even while dealing with the blown hose, blown hatch strut, and bloodletting, he has been patiently rebuilding and calibrating a temp gauge for Mellow Yellow, adding in the process a kool modifikation which will activate a buzzer if the temp light comes on and I don't notice.

He has wizardly powers.
