A stethoscope (or presumably a screwdriver) will let you hear the click of the injectors firing.

The plumbing is on 24.46. The only connection that absolutely has to be on the right nipple is the return to the tank which goes on the nipple that the regulator mounts on. The inlet from the tank goes to the gauge tee, then off each side of the tee to the respective fuel rails, then from the fuel rails back to the regulator....that way you constantly have fresh fuel flowing past the injector inlets.
