Thanks, John -- Jim Arnott was kind enough to send me a pdf of 2 01 32 and yeah, it shows a buncha relevant parts. David Beirel pointed me to Bentley page 20.16 which is also very helpful. I'll take a closer look at the situation today and see if I can sort out what that loose hose was meant to be attached to. Probably the gravity vent valve, as David proposed. It's amazing to me how many systems and subsystems cars have! -- RJS On Sun, 2011-07-10 at 23:39 -0500, John Rodgers wrote: > The ETKA shows I think what you seek in drawing number 2 01 31 and 2 > 01 32 - the fuel tank and all associated parts - tank, expansion > tanks, hoses and fittings. > > Drawing number 9 55 148.00 shows the complete windscreen washer > system. > > John > > John Rodgers > Clayartist and Moldmaker > 88'GL VW Bus Driver > Chelsea, AL > Http://www.moldhaus.com > > > On 7/10/2011 8:07 PM, Rocket J Squirrel wrote: > > > In the driver's side front wheel well is a bulgy-shaped tank of > > translucent white plastic.
