Well, I wouldn't recommend it, however if you are asking because of the pushrod tube seals, you don't need to remove the head to replace type IV motor seals. Remove the valve cover, the rockers and the pushrod. Remove the lower tin. Pliers gently on the tube and twist and pull. Out it comes. Replace o-rings. Slide back and seat with a socket and a dead blow hammer. Type IV motors are a whole different animal than a Type I motor. Jim |
