Like Tom mentioned, if this is important to you and you want to ensure a desired boost output at a certain altitude, then simply install a manual boost controller, like this one<https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-K4Q_83MuzUA/Th20ERBZepI/AAAAAAAAAlE/l9WS1iy7aso/s640/606%252520boost%252520controller.JPG>I'm running on an OM606 being prepped for an install. The boost controller and a cockpit boost gauge would allow you to dial in the boost performance you like. If you're thinking of increasing max boost, I'd also recommend installing a cockpit pyrometer to monitor EGTs as well.
