Something that works on inline vw motors and good if the motor is already put together- Remove pressure sender on filter housing, pour oil in the hole. I guess it would be better to use a pump type oil can since the sender hole is small. The oil runs back to the pump and provides suction.

Should work fine on a waterboxer too, as the sender location is uphill from the pump.
