I vote for neither!!! Too expensive and boats slide on the plastic coated bars like they were teflon-coated. Google Quik N Easy roof brackets. made of cast aluminum and you get to choose which type of bar you want ie wood metal or whatever. QNE also makes a pipe bar for those not wanting to be creative, but it adds to the cost and shipping long bars ain't cheap these days. Try Northwest River Supply and see if they still sell them. Maybe Ebay?? Used is another option of course. Pmail me and I'll send you a photo of my bomb proof roof rack system using 8 of the clamps instead of 4.
