I have run my westfalia fridge, in my "non westy" (turned westy) for a few
years now and loved/hated it. However, I've become quite a well educated
fridge user over this time. I have owned several thermometers and finally
found one I LOVE.
Finally one that's just a big display showing Inside and Outside
temperature. Nothing more, nothing less.

I have purchased 4 of these units and are running them on several boat
fridges with great success.

There are built in magnets on the display unit that stick right to the
westfalia panel (or you can put it on the dash if you want to monitor while
driving).

Finally a product I have found to be a great success.
