If the weather is good, 5 days would not be enough for me! On one trip we spent the first night at Ft Stevens (1.5 hrs from home), the next day we headed towards south. 3 days later were not much over 3 hrs from home and not a bad nights camping at all. In good weather the whole Oregon coast is great. I know, this is not much help.... The last time we just 'went' I drove down to the Tillamook Cheese Factory to get some cheese and spent the night at Nehalem State Park (Tillamook had a great farmers market too). Not much help, sorry but it was fun to remember! Have a good time! Rob becida@comcast.net
