the lower grill has 4-6 screws that thread into a plastic bushing insert. The insert then fits into a snap housing in the grill. if the screws are missing, it should be a simple matter to remove the plastic insert and the grill should just fall out.

I know when installing Projektzwo foglights, that you have to remove 4 of the screws. I don't recall if there are two additional ones in the center or not (I believe their are, but I'm not positive.)
