Make sure you are not measuring from the hot or power side of the relay coil. If you are then you are measuring the relay coil resistance.

You should read 0 or very close to 0 ohms across any ground. Any resistance, even 1 ohm is trouble.

On an 1982 aircooled Calif Specs checking the ohms  on the ground wire from the block  through the harness to the fuel pump double relay, I get a reading of 9.67 ohms is that correct or is there problems with that wire Thanks Gus ----- No virus found in this message.
