Balderdash. You have misread the door sticker tire inflation chart. The 8PR is shown for both front and rear as a possible fitment on Syncro, along with 6PR of the same sizes, both at the same pressures. It is a pressure chart. All tires listed between a pair of horizontal lines are set at the same front and rear pressures. There is no line between the 6PR and 8PR. Since the 6PR is written above the 8PR and the front pressure is written above the rear pressure one could make the mistake of thinking what you wrote if one ignored the layout of the table in it's entirety, with respect to the horizontal diving lines.

Because of the viscous coupling driveline system Syncros need closely matching tires and spare so it would be unreasonable to install a set that could not be fully rotated, including the spare.
