Either get the 46mm hammer tool for the end of the 1/2" breaker bar or get a big 3/4" bar and 46mm socket. I use the big set at home and carry the hammer tool on the road. Here is the hammer tool. I have been using them for 30+ years on VW Bus rear axle nuts.
