Shameless plug for GoWesty, and another reason why I decided to go with them when I needed a Westy Weekender to finish out our days (We're only 67, so we have a few(?) years left?): All of their increased displacement engines (2.1 to 2.5) have piston-cooling oil jets ("squirters"). johnnyjewel :Better built engines have little oil nozsles that squirt oil under pressure onto the undersides of the pistons. All vw turbo diesel engines have that. all 1.9 diesels, NA or turbo, have them. Many later high performance inlne gas four VW engines have them."
