1. get rid of vibrations he got sick of. 2. viscous coupling binding in tight turns when very warmed up. 3. see number one again ..vibrations. 4. worn out driveshaft

You are not aware that syncro's commonly have vibration issues associated with the drivetrain ? It's chronic.

I assume you mean remove the Driveshaft. you can't remove the two front axles.. the bearings in the hubs depend on the stub axles, part of the front axles, being there.

yeah Peter, I don't know if you are new to Syncro's ..but believe me.. they are their own whole set of special problems !

also ..you'll find 'they like money' ..some times they like money a lot .
