Subject: Power Steering Pumps

I have been researching the 'Net for power steering pumps, and found the Beck/Arnley online catalog. In their catalog, when I got to the P/S Pump for the Vanagon, I discovered that their catalog cross references other vehicles on which a part fits or works. This is a very handy thing.

In this case:

Beck/Arnley P/S Pump Part#108-5172 Vanagon - 1983 thru 1991 Audi model 80 - 1988 thru 1990 Audi model 90 - 1988 thru 1990

This is the same ZF pump that was original equipment, just reman'd by Beck/Arnley. So if you are stuck, you could used the one designated for the Audi.

For what it's worth, my experience with Beck/Arnley remanufactured parts has been good.

John
