I'm getting in late on this thread, but a breaker bar should be
nothing more than a bar that slides through a nub that has the 3/4"
male drive piece on it, right.  A flex handle is the tool that
swivels/pivots at the joint.  I would think the breaker bar would be
much stronger than the flex handle, but I've put ungodly amounts of
force on my 20 year old Craftsman 3/4" flex handle that I likely paid
about $20 for back then.  That was 1990 dollars though I guess....
