If the engine is out for a rebuild or engine mount replacement, now's the time to do just that - check 'em out and slather some JB Weld on 'em. If you're real paranoid (occasionally I am), if the engine is out for ANY reason and there's some oil weeping near the oil pump/crank pulley area (and both the cover and crank seal are good), you could/should do it as well.

I never mentioned it to the list at the time it happened as I figured it was just an aberration.
