Subject: Radio causes buzzer to go off
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Thanks for all the responses on the headlight issue, when the money tree has fall bills off I will buy a kit to fix the problem. New one for you guys, I am an Amateur Radio operator and have just installed a radio that pulls around 8 amps on transmit. I hooked the + wire to the fuse for the refrigerator (Never run on 12 volt I use the propane or 120v when hooked up at a campground) on the drivers door post and the - to the fuse box mounting screws for the ground. I get power just fine but when I transmit The key in lock door buzzer goes off. I have had trouble in the past with it going off a random times in the past, but the gauges and every thing indicates no problems with anything. When I transmit the buzzer sounds the whole time ( which is quite annoying) With the Westfala it is very hard to run new wire from the battery in back to where the radio is mounted. The heavy wire for the refrigerator (10 guage I think) should be able to handle the load, so I don't have a clue to the cause any suggestions?
