Great point! I still have the 3/4" sliding breaker and 1 3/4" socket I got from the local FLAPS in Tucson 30 years ago. Reasonably priced at the time and still kickin'

I suppose the guarantee is nice but I'd rather not have the tool break when I'm depending on it the most.

If you're on a budget, you can still find good used tools at the Thrift Store.
