Subject: Harbor Freight 3/4" drive breaker bar?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I see HF sells one for under $20. Has anyone used one of these to remove and replace the rear axle nut on a Vanagon without breaking it? The ad copy says it is guaranteed for 750 ft/lbs of torque...

Anyway, I broke another 1/2" drive (from Harbor Freight, actually) trying to loosen the axle nut, so now I am going to get a 3/4" drive like everyone told me to do. My nearest HF is an hr away, so I don't want to waste my time if the wrench is likely to break anyhow...

Thanks, Don Hanson
