You got me. The product data sheet shows it as being rated SM which is 2004 and later. Maybe there are two versions of Syntec 20w-50! Is this really high zinc or not? Maybe it is just a slightly higher Zinc similar to the Mobil 1 15w-50. Still, the real unique need for the Waterboxer is viscosity and that alone makes a 20w-50 even a better choice than 15w-40 for extended high speed operation.
