I have never seen Castrol GTX in 10 or 15-50. The norm is 20w-50. This is an
oil for the modified and collector car crowd. Very good stuff and will hold
higher pressure than a 15w-40 Diesel oil.

That seemed to be something of a consensus after the discussion of zinc
additives, or a lack thereof, a month or so ago. I've been using Castrol
GTX 10w/50 (might be 15, thinking about it), and am considering changing
when I next change oil before I leave Phx for Seattle in early September.
I'm looking forward to someone taking me by the hand and saying, "Do it this
way" (and being correct about it, of course).

|So, are folks recommending that we run a diesel oil in our vanagons?
