This is what I'm looking at, on ebay there are a lot of direct form
china vendors that sell LED replacements for various types of
automotive applications for $1 on up, including shipping.  Some have
scant info about dimensions and output though, so there may be some
trial and error.  I'll report what I find.  I did buy a couple little
round ones that fit in the fixtures I have that are designed for the
10W 2 pin halogen bulbs.  Very inexpensive and well made, light
output good, color a little yellowy, I went with the warm
white.  Like
