and the funny thing is .. one can't really do a decent job of spray painting anything outdoors really.

garden and farm equipment maybe.. but for any decent surface...gotta be in still air, in a garage at least. With air currents and whatever in the air .. a decent job isn't really possible.

what happens when you go to, say .. change spark plugs ? all kinds of ways to get in trouble there sometimes.

I hate those spray can tops .. I suppose one is supposed to force them off with a screw driver. I either .. whack them really hard with a tilting action on a sharp corner, like the edge of a steel work bench ... and that pops them off.. though not recommended ...I've seen someone do it wrong and end up with spray paint *everywhere*... or I put the top in a vice and bust/twist if off that way.

it helps to warm the spray can of paint in the sun or in warm water too. Just don't ever leave one in boiling water for a while... then shake it really well.. that can blast the bottom of the can right out ........and blast paint right through your pants onto your skin and all kinds of places you weren't planning to paint yet. Not in that color anyway.
