Subject: Blackbeard - Sold!

Just a quick Frydaye update to let y'all know that Blackbeard has found a new home. Ironically, he's headed back to Portland - where he was purchased (Dick Hannah) and resided until I bought him in '06. And the new owner is going to turn him into a Syncro!

This is a bittersweet day. Happy that the van is going to someone who will appreciate it and turn it into something that I never could - but, I sure did love driving it.

Nevertheless . . . My eye will always be focused on the next Vanagon. And since my wife and I are hoping to relocate to the Seattle area in the next few months (job situation willing), they'll definitely be MUCH easier to come by!

Just wanted to thank everyone who's helped answer my (more often than not) seemingly silly and mechanically ignorant questions over the course of the past 4+ years. :) And I'm looking forward to asking more, sooner rather than later!

Drew, Las Vegas '90 GL "Blackbeard" (for a few more days)
