good idea to check the fuel filter.

vanagon fuel tanks can just clog up ..
the fuel pick up is in a sump that you can not see into really.
'sometimes' a new fuel tank is needed.

not a diagnosis here...just a thing to consider.
I run them off a whole other can in the back if I have to,
to determine it's 'the tank.'
