Gregg, I converted my '88 GL's refrigerant to 134a and get about 40-50ºF at the vents depending on ambient. Is the A/C compressor clutch engaging? Does your radiator fan come on as it should? You may be low on 134a, mine took 2 cans easily. Hey folks, Just got my AC back in service recently in my 90 Westy (converted to 134a). I= know that cooling the interior of our vans was always a challenge, but seem= s like mine isn't where it should be.=20 With my laser temp gun pointed at the blower vents, I'm getting 70 degrees c= oming out. Seems kinda high to me. Anyone know what the correct temp SHOULD b= e (keeping in mind this is now running 134a)? Thanks, Gregg (warm) 90 Westy |
