You know that saying..."You get what you pay for"? The Vanagon list is
free. The main part works just fine. The archives? I never had any luck
with a search on those, but then I paid exactly $Zero for them, so I get
what I paid for.
It is somewhat tiresome to always hear..."Search the Archives" or "I have
tried the Archives with no luck, so I am asking....."..or advice on a
subject pre-pended by somewhat superior sounding "it's in the archive, but
here is the answer......" Implying..."you should look it up yourself, you
lazy ......" In my few years on the list, I have never gotten much of
anything, trying the archives, though I still try...rarely. Google search
seems to bring up all the info anyhow...I guess.
