If you have already took the whole thing off and took the pin out of the
armrest, just take it to any workshop where they have a welder and put it
back on it's base.  Just make sure they don't put welding to any place where
it would interfere with the fitting of the armrest or to the seat's side.

My grandchildren were playing in Frankestein, my 89 Westy Syncro, and they
broke the RH dirver’s seat arm rest. I need to get the metal piece in which
the spring pin goes to get it welded. Any advice welcome.
