Core value on a VW reman now is $1500. As long as it has a good block and
good head. Crank, pistons can be broken, valves bent.


But if it's under 150K miles, and comes with a warranty of any sort, missing
injectors and pump (presumably the injector lines as well) brings it down to
a used-engine market value around $1000-1200.
