Gregg, have you waited until the vents themselves should be cooled, not just the air? Keep in mind that the temperature you are measuring with the gun is the surface temperature, not the air temperature.

That said, 70 F is too warm, if on high. I haven't measured mine (it is also converted to 134a), but it freezes the back of my head when I am driving, if I don't divert the airflow. I put it so that it hits the ceiling above me. But with road vibration, eventually I'm feeling that cold air on my head again. Even though I try to get it set so that as much of the air as possible comes forward, when I pull over and go into the cabin area, it feels noticeably cooler than in the forward area. Just a matter of trying to cool a large volume and not getting equal distribution. ---- Gregg Carlen <gregg.carlen@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > Hey folks, > Just got my AC back in service recently in my 90 Westy (converted to 134a). Seems kinda high to me. Anyone know what the correct temp SHOULD be (keeping in mind this is now running 134a)? > > Thanks, > Gregg > (warm) 90 Westy > > Sent from my mobile device
