I've no problems with its looks. It does look in the way of the poptop function. Of course, since I've had my camper, no one has slept up top. the poptop just gives more headroom while in camp, and looks cool to anyone who ogles the van (I've been told so, anyway). When my daughter and her family camp with us, they sleep in a tent.

I may actually try to devise something like that. Maybe I can rig it up so it swings out of the way. mcneely > > > > > On Tue, Aug 2, 2011 at 4:09 PM, Jack Botts <johnnyjewel43@hotmail.com>wrote: > > > Sorry, still finding my way around Picasa: > > > > https://picasaweb.google.com/114104714803827163056/August22011# > > > > > > > > > From: mwmiller6@att.net > > > To: johnnyjewel43@HOTMAIL.COM > > > Subject: Re: Proper AC temp? > > > Date: Tue, 2 Aug 2011 15:54:35 -0700 > > > > > > When I went there it said there was nothing to see, or that I needed > > > permission to see it. > > > > > > > > > On Aug 2, 2011, at 3:40 PM, Jack Botts wrote: > > > > > > >> Date: Tue, 2 Aug 2011 15:15:24 -0400 > > > >> From: kimbrennan@MAC.COM > > > >> Subject: Re: Proper AC temp? > > > >> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > > > > > > > > > > > >> One of these days I'll get around to a long thought of project to > > > >> get that cold air up to my front without the need of another > > > >> evaporator unit. > > > > > > > > The PO of my 2nd '86 Westy devised this unique arrangement using > > > > ~1/8 aluminum, a house downspout, and some directionally-abled > > > > outlets.
