Bob, great photos. This is all that has to be done to most all power window motors. I have always been able to rebuild these motors, never had to replace one - yet ! I will add one small note, in the bottom of the motor are two small rubber plugs, they should be removed to allow and water that gets in the motor to drain out ! One more place among hundreds that the VW rubber plug guy plugged the drain hole that the VW drain hole guy made - go figure ! AND, FLUID FILM or WURTH FILM used here is indispensable in protecting your rebuilt motor for the future.
