Ron,

Go to www.audifans.com. There's guys parting out Audi's there often. Many take out stock springs coils to replace them with stiffer and lower versions. Used springs are relatively inexpensive and occasionally given away.

There is also a section in VWvortex.com dedicated to Audi's.

If you are after new springs, I often find H&R springs on eBay.
