It is highly unlikely that the housing itself is damaged beyond repair. The usual cause of failure for the axle or flange hub is insufficient torque of that large nut. Also you need to make sure the bearing spacer is not worn-damaged. Anyone that can sell you an axle can probably also sell you a housing since they both come from the same source. Maybe get a complete assembly with bearings ready to install and go. Dennis
