I've always thought that $7500 was a reasonable price for a Westy (non-syncro). So this doesn't seem out of line with that. Encinitas (if I'm remembering correctly) is where I bought my Westy Syncro, and was lousy with Vanagons (seemed like every block had one when I was there 10 years ago.)
