The meter I bought off eBay (shipped from China) is a panel mount (put it into a small project box attached to the trim panel under the sink) has the option, if you order a shunt with it, to be an amp meter. Small button on the front of the meter, press to read current. And it reads to two decimal places. I didn't order the shunt and have never used the amp meter feature. But they are avaialble out there. Just be a little careful when ordering the great variety of digital volt/amp meters off eBay, many of them require a separate power supply board. Others, like the one I have, have their own power supply built in.
